Watch The Video for "Goodnight" by Denzel Curry Ft. NELL & Twelve'Len

14 April 2017

With his impending Coachella debut ahead of him (Friday 4/14 + 4/21 at 11:00 pm in the Gobi Tent), Denzel Curry has released a visual for Imperial standout cut "Goodnight" featuring fellow Carol City natives & C9 members NELL & Twelve'Len,  directed by David Wept. The video is timely and all the more poignant given the current social and political climate of not only the United States but also numerous states across the globe. For some, this video could be hard to swallow, but reality has no sympathy for the ignorant. At the end of the day, the message is bright as often is the future when beset by positivity. Watch it above and check out what the artists had to say regarding the track.

"I just wanted to make a song to uplift the everyday people back home in my community. It's a lot going on in Carol City right now so I wanted to shed light on it and let them know that everything will be ok." - Denzel Curry

"My contribution to the record was a quote my grandfather used to say to me as a little boy. "For life is to short to focus and hold on to anything that makes you bitter, So may the sunshine upon your cheeks and grateful to have lived the day." - Forever yours, Twelve'Len

"The song gave me a platform & the power to touch people. No matter what you go through in life there is always a way out, you just have to have hope." - NELL
