Goldfrapp is a duo from London that formed in 1999. Members include Alison Goldfrapp (vocals, synthesizer) and Will Gregory (synthesizer). Silver Eye is their seventh studio album release.

I listened to Silver Eye with very low expectations, and perhaps this is the reason I don't think Goldfrapp's new album is a complete disaster. I still wouldn't recommend it, though. The record starts off decent with the first couple of tracks, but the momentum peters out quickly, becoming too dull to be anything fun or exciting. In the end, Silver Eye doesn't have too much to offer. It is mediocre synth pop that is too forgettable to mention, and anyone hoping for something to get your groove on will be slightly disappointed. Standout tracks include "Anymore" and "Systemagic."
