This year Canada's unique music festival, Shambhala
, celebrates its twenty-first anniversary. The second weekend of August, electronic music fans gather at the Salmo River Ranch, nestled in the Kootenay mountains of British Columbia to experience all that is Shambhala. Its remote and intimate location paired with exclusive live performances and free to be yourself vibe makes Shamb a place of true magic. Artists such as Adventure Club, Liquid Stranger and Rezz hold a 2018 headliner spot. When you're not boogieing from one of the six creative stages to another, you can take a dip in the Salmo river, practice yoga, relax in the garden, watch live artists, eat at a variety of delicious food options or stroll through town to buy merch. Ankors also provides judgment-free harm reduction and drug testing free of charge for all attendees making Shambhala a safe space for all. After attending my first Shambhala it was apparent that there was something different about this festival and! I encourage everyone to try it for themselves.
