Listen to Thundercat's Tribute, "Paris"

18 November 2015

As the world continues to discuss, mourn, argue, point the finger, digest, disagree and reflect on the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, one thing that we can all agree on is that unity is what is needed now more than ever. And what has better united the people of this earth than music? Thundercat has taken on this approach of uniting the masses, while honoring those who were so brutally taken away, with a short, crescendo, Spanish influenced, meditative and ambient tune titled, "Paris." The song hits that sweet spot of not too long and not too short, with a middle sigh of relief, accompanied by a moving bass chord, and bird-like sound effects at a higher volume, which points towards a new direction; a brighter day.
