Nice as Fuck is Jenny Lewis, Au Revoir Simone's Erika Forster and the Like's Tennessee Thomas. The self-titled release is their debut album.

If you're going to throw around the word "Supergroup," then you best deliver something way more exciting than Nice As Fuck. What would have probably fared better going for a more folk rock style, with vocals, bass, drums, and the occasional keyboard, the band opted instead for a stripped-down, punky-pop approach. The lyrics are hit and miss, and the bass lacks the dynamic range needed to be a standout. Overall, Nice as Fuck feels underwrought and you always know where it's going or trying to go. The end result isn't quite as satisfying as the build-up, but it's an interesting concept that may show promise once explored to its full potential. If their first single "Door" blew away your expectations, then you may be able to overlook most of the ho-hum tracks on the album. Nice As Fuck isn't as much fun as it should be, and while you can certainly admire the effort, you need to be a die-hard Lewis-Forster-Thomas fan to appreciate this dull effort. Standouts include "Runaway" and "Door."
